About

This crazy life. I love where it takes me. Tomorrow it’s to the Caribbean. We’ll make our home for the next year and four months on the island of Dominica. Darwin will be attending medical school there and I’ll be exploring the reefs. What a life.

Come see us! If you know me or Darwin, you have a place to stay and food to eat. Look for us here:

Can you find it? It’s an island in the lesser antiles island chain. About 30 miles long and 12 miles wide. Called the “Nature Island of the Caribbean,” it’s known for its scuba diving, snorkeling, boiling volcanous lakes, and whale watching.

The school Darwin attends is Ross University Medical School (http://www.rossu.edu/). On the island, he’ll do the basic sciences. Then we’ll be in Miami for 4 months and the final 2 years of clinical rotation will be spent in New York.

I’ll be working on achieving that perfect tan (because I love skin cancer and I love to do absolutely nothing for months on end). Learning the dialect of French spoken on the island, studing for the GRE, taking online Math classes, writing a book, and becoming a certified Dive Master are just some of plans in the making. . . we’ll see how far I get.

Why, yes I am going to visit you, in the Carribean, maybe in Miami, and definitely in NY.

We may not make it to Dominica to visit you but we can shoot for Florida or New York. Thanks for the warm invite.

This is the coolest thing!!!! Who knew people were still living such adventurous lives!!! I was looking for pics of jellyfish stings to compare my daughters’ reactions to and…voila I entered in to your very exciting world ….Here’s hoping you are still doing well after Dean …We were in P.R. during the late 90’s . Had to deal with the aftermath of Georges… the actual storm wasn’t nearly as bad as the residual effects… we even were able to talk on the phone during the entire storm … but after it was two months til we had phones again …lol ROCK ON!!!!
